Bloody livid !

Went out to shut the chickens in and found all but two still alive !

Bloody fox killed the rest, two missing, gone.

Keep questioning did we do anything wrong ? Could we have gone out earlier ?

Sooo bloody angry at the moment !

so sorry to hear this , its awful to have this happen
dont beat yourself up about what you could have done as foxes are chancers and will patiently wait for the right time to attack . its that time of year when vixens have youngsters to feed so will be more daring
it will definitely come back in the next day or two
    thinking of you

    Day five

Our cockerel still isn’t standing or coming out of the house. We are having to feed him water by hand, can’t wait for him to be himself again.
Tina set up her trail camera and caught two foxes revisiting the crime scene.
    I’ll keep you posted.

poor thing , just imagine what he witnessed
it may take him a long time to recover but hell get there eventually -my cockerel spent weeks sitting in with a broody after a fox attack
your chooks didnt stand a chance against two foxes .one is bad enough but two at the same time yikes.
    keep us updated
