goodbye Zena

Zena passed away last night . She had been quiet for a few days but still eating and drinking until yesterday. Not sure how old she was but had finished laying
She was the top hen of the trio of bluebelles that i adopted a few years back and caused me loads of problems with their bullying. They ganged up on Georgie twice and gave her a really bad battering but after losing the other two and being put in her place by Mr Kipling she settled down with the bantams peacefully and was always the first to run to me when i went out the garden.

I do remember you getting those Bluebells Kath.  They landed on their feet when you took them on!  Sorry you've lost Zena now.

Do you still have Mr Kipling?
