It could be Mareks disease, although I believe that doesn't usually show in birds this young?  However, given the accelerated growth rate for broiler hens it wouldn't surprise me.

Has this chick been kept on it's own, or has it had other birds to snuggle up against?  If it's been kept alone then Kath is probably right about the leg issue, and it is possible to fix this using a hobble, such as the one used in the link Kath has given you.  I've had good success with young budgies using hobbles.  I usually just use sticking plaster (in tape form) for mine.
  • Thanks Kath, that site was quite helpful. The chicks are all grown now and walking properly. Antibiotics was used and the flooring fixed properly.

I was way off the mark - thinking it was one on it's own! :))
