Eggs size problem

Hello everyone, I am new to this site, so bear with me, I am a egg farmer in Central Alberta, Canada, and have DeKalb white layers,  I have tried just about anything I can think of, but can not get decent eggs size with these birds. Help me out, any ideas might help,

what age do you keep them to?
older hens ususlly lay bigger eggs but maybe not as frequently
  • The most important nutrients in controlling egg size are linoleic acid, proteins, especially methionine, choline, folic acid, vitamin B12, and calcium. One or a combination of these nutrients in the diet reduces the size of the egg. Reducing protein and methionine and choline levels in the presence of folic acid and vitamin B12 in the diet will reduce egg weight and improve shell quality.
  • Try reducing protein & methionine.
