i have decided to put a video on here of my light sussex, mischief on here.

was bought as a point of lay hen may bank holiday and was told was 19 weeks old at the time. :rolleyes:

can anyone tell me if this is a cockerel. sounds way diffrent to my hens and the tail is not like a hen's tail at all.

    looks like a hen to me,might be that it has a damaged ovary. Usually when this happens the hens switch over to the other ovary which takes some time and causes some testosterone bursts in the bird. Can cause some male characteristics. Whether the other ovary will rise to the challenge is anyones guess she might just never lay.
