Silver Sussex

Hi i wondered if any of you have had these birds?
I bought mine yesterday at 20weeks old, now this morning
one of them has sat in the nestbox and won't budge.
Are they a breed known for going broody?

    hi, sussex are very prone to broodyness, although she is quite young this is not uncommon. Not had silver sussex before only buff and light, i bet they are beautiful

    Thanks Emma she was sat on a nest with no eggs:D Took her off and now she's fine, i've only ever has buff and light but wanted to add to my ever growing flock. They do look rather nice also:)
