Multi Tier versus conventional free range

I am looking at investing in my first 16000 free range hen shed, however having looked at both a conventional floor shed with raised laying boxes and a multi tier shed I am stuggling to make a decision about which would be best. I was very impressed with the multi tier shed but felt it was if anything a little cluttered and claustrophopic. Doesn't seem as easy to properly check the hens. Equally the floor system had problems as well, with a bigger shed required, and possibly more work on a day to day basis as well as at cleaning out time.

Any information or suggestions anyone has on this would be very much appreciated.

Hope to hear from you soon
